Poor Itachi's pinfeathers!

My poor wee Itachi bird is about 3.5 months old now, and is already molting something fierce. Early bloomer! All these pinfeathers look SO irritating :c he's been nippy and hasn't wanted to step up, and I can't help him with the sheaths either, no touchy. He will still flutter to me and sit on me, though, so our friendship is still strong :D I had hoped he'd have a buddy before this happened, but of course it wouldn't work out that way :/

Charlie was a bit touchy today too, he has a few feathers coming in and would not let me help him with them, he hissed at me when I tried so I backed off.

Oh my goodness, his feathers are coming in BRIGHT! Y'all can see his yellow coloring is so pale... I've always said he looks a bit like he's been peed on >_>

The new feathers on his nape and cheeks are coming in FLUORESCENT yellow, like a highlighter marker! Yeesh, this fid never ceases to impress.
