Just wanted to say hello to everybody here on the forums :) . I've just gotten my first baby birds ( a CAG an a little cockatiel) and since they are so young they cannot come home yet so I've joined you to try and pass the time and learn more about my little babies :)

Hello and welcome! Congratulations on your fids! PP is a very good place to pass the time and learn from other bird companions about life with birds! :applause:

Hello and welcome, have a nosy around and feel free to ask questions or comment on anything you find that you find interesting. It will help to pass the time until they move in with you. :)

We welcome you with open wings! You have chose my two favorite bird species. Both are dusty birds so have you made plans to get an air filtration system in place? You are in for good times with them both. :magic:

Hey there! Welcome!
Sounds like you're about to have your hands quite full. Greys (cockatiels too, but greys more intensely) need a LOT of care to ensure their emotional and cognitive development is fulfilled. I highly suggest reading Dr Irene Pepperberg's work, she was the scientist who raised the famous Grey Alex.
Hanging around here is great, too. There's a big variety of birds and of people, and always somebody willing to take a crack at any questions or musings. Have fun!

Thanks. I would never have guessed it was in the signature forum. That's understandable. Especially because it's not. It's actually under the Help & Support section. Wendy just made a combined post there on how to post both photos and sigs :)
Hi! :th_hi: we look forward to reading all about your new babies!

Welcome!
I picked up my new "baby" right before Christmas but she's slightly north of 20 years old :)
