Does anyone make soak, their are commercial one's, I like to get creative making my own... my latest blend is unhulled barley, split peas, lima beans ,wild rice, pinto beans, garbanzo beans, red lentils, black beans, red kidney beans, rinse and cover with water bring to boil, simmer for 10 min. turn off, cover and let soak till water is absorbed and pulses have expanded. Drain and divided into desired serving size in snack size baggies and freeze. When I serve up soak I take out single serv portion put in micro safe dish/bowl to heated through, while still warm I add Goji Berries and pine nuts sparingly,,

I buy the volkmans soak and simmer because
Your version sounds like wayyyyy more work.

Just like I got the ingredients to make homemade nutriberries months ago...... And they never got made.

The bird bread is easy. I literally throw a whole bunch of stuff in a bowl, mix, and bake.
Never the same twice. :)

So if a bird f___ in the forest does anybody hear it? Wow, do birds f____?

Suzanne you are too funny, I was assuming that the soak was for the birds but you know what happens when you assume. It sounds like something people can eat also, but I would not want to to be in that house.

I might have to try to make it for Charlie after I stock up on the beano :th_laughing8:

I don't know if birds have flatulence (Gas) I suppose I could do a research paper on the subject "OR" maybe that could be the next HOT TOPIC/THREAD / EXAMPLE= DO PSITTSCINES "PRONUNCED:" psit·ta·cine. (Meaning a bird belonging to the parrot family) PASS GAS ! :p95::pcs::bwires::th_pinklol: Do these characters look kind of like their passing gas?

Never the same twice. :) Same with my soak, never the same twice, I mix with their veggies or pasta. Sometimes I mix it with Harrison's high potency coarse.
