One day it will turn up again and be on your finger. Things like that are too precious to be lost. Check your washer and dryer.

Sorry to hear that Charlie. Do you know if you lost it indoors or outside?

Oh man.
Was it loose on your finger? Or did you take it off?

Oh no! Lost mine a few years ago in a dog swimming pool (I think). Managed to lose the wedding band, but not the engagement band, which was odd because I generally have my wedding band behind the engagement ring. My husband and I decided it was a good time to replace it, and I love the replacement even more. I hope you find your band or get a new one that speaks as well as your first for your enduring love.

How bizarre! So you don't remember removing the band at any time recently? If not, and considering that it was a tight fit, its absence certainly qualifies as a big mystery :th_eek:. Perhaps you somehow removed it while you were asleep and it's now lurking in/on/behind or even under your bed - maybe it's under or between the sheets and blankets on your bed? Or might it be somewhere on the bedroom floor nearby? Just some thoughts I had.

Possibly may have worn thin and snapped where the weld was.:(
Oh Charlie, I too am sorry to hear this, maybe it is just misplaced? I tend to leave mine in a cup above the sink b/c I take my jewelry off before doing dishes or it will slide off from the soap and end up in the garbage disposal.
I also tend to find things when I stop looking for them. I'm sure it will turn up.

Suggestions:
Have you had your hands in cold water, generally warm hands are fatter? Check the waste traps in any washbasins or sinks you have been using.
Give places like the car a thorough vacuum out. My workshop only gets a good clean up when I have lost something.
Hire a metal detector if you have been working outdoors.
