Is My Bird Grooming Me?

Good evening, all:

So Charlie our LSC2 who is 3 months old loves to sit on me while I am sitting on the couch. I usually put a blanket on my lap and some of his foot toys and he plays and sunggles and acts silly. Today he started nibbling at my chin and at my cheeks. He wasn't biting but just nibbling. Was he grooming me or just telling me that I need to wash my face? :th_smile:

He's grooming you! Amigo will notice then zoom in on any little imperfection on my skin, usually a little scab from his nails, it's hard to change the subject once that happens! He'll keep insisting on making it go away :)

Thank you! I thought that was what he is doing but just wanted to make sure. Kendra, Rosie is absolutely gorgeous! How long have you had her?

Thank you! Rosie will be 4 in about a month. She has been with us since she was about 4 months old. :)

Casper started by preening my eyebrows and eyelashes last night but then progressed to dismantling my spectacles. This morning it was a trip to the opticians for me to get them put back together again. They only charged a pound which I thought was very reasonable. :)

Nike likes to pick the "bugs" off my neck and face....not very comfortable ;). She hasn't yet started playing with my beard and mustache.

She looks very healthy and happy. Does she try and groom you? I would imagine her beak is extremely powerful.

Lol Jean-Pierre, I have to take my glasses off when he starts going for those. I also have to take my fit-bit off because he absolutely loves to try and chew on that. I learned very quickly if it is has sentimental value or would be expensive to replace, do not wear it while holding Charlie!

Rosie preens me all the time. Her beak is very powerful, but she is usually gentle. It is amazing how gentle the big guys/girls can be even though they have such strength.
