Hi! My name is Kylie, and this is my little beaky fluffball, Luna:

I took her home when she was about 10 weeks old from a breeder near where I live. She's now 6 months old and a real character. I have had lovebirds in the past, but I was very young and very wild myself, so I never fully experienced the joys of being owned by a parrot as I do now with Luna. She's hyperactive, but snuggly when she wants to be, and very spoilt for one so tiny.

Currently she is my only flock member, though I get lots of visits from the wild parrots around here. Later this year I also plan on adopting a cockatiel.

Wow is Luna every gorgeous! I love her coloring. You sure live in the land of birds. We have another Aussie member who is relatively inactive at this time. He sent us lovely photos of the wild birds all around him. Welcome to PP, its a great place to be!

Thanks all! I've really enjoyed the online avian community so far. Glad to be a part of it. :)

HI Kylie and Luna,
Welcome from us also! She is a real cutie and I look forward to hearing all about what it is like to have Luna in your family!

She ranges from extreme sass to extreme cute. I love her to bits. Currently I'm lying in bed with the light off (it's night) and Luna is snuggled up in the crook of my neck under a blanket, fast asleep. She lives with myself, my partner and my brother and seems to agree with all of us in equal measure, though she only comes to me for preening. My sister, who is staying with me temporarily, is on her black list. Sometimes I'm sure she goes out of her way to terrorise my sister.
