Nash can fly.. with 6 wing feathers XD

So Nash, my lovebird, and I have been battling out his newly unclipped feathers and the other day while he was on top of his cage on his play gym.. he decided he didn't want to be alone so he FLEW to me!! A good 6 feet I'd say, and it was amazing.. but I am so not ready yet for a free flight bird haha.

He has 4 feathers on one wing and 2 on the other and honestly I don't know how he did it. Usually he kinda ungracefully falls to the ground from his cage to me.. but he did a pretty great job at staying level and landing right on my shoulder and then giving me a big ole kiss.. He was so cute about it!

Good for him, I hope you aren't going to clip him again after him demonstrating how cool it is to be able to fly over and give you a kiss. :th_smile:

Oh yeah he will never be clipped again! Harness training is rough but I know we will get there and I know he will be so much happier now that he can fly!(:
