Kobe and Tango love to munch into a raw carrot. Some days they make it as thin as a pencil. I thought they were so cute this morning with orange crumbs in their beaks.

Cute pic! Do they actually eat it or just mutilate it..sometimes it's hard to tell! :)

I think little of both because droppings are orange. Did you notice they both are on one foot?
Human marriages are not bonded as close as these two are!

Nike tends to shake her head violently and fling anything stuck to her beak across the room....finishes up with wiping it on either her perch or me.

Orange looks good on them. I'm wondering if they do the same to any orange veggie. Lady seems to like bright colored veggies too. Sweet potatoes, carrots.... even fruit.

Hmmmmm...And here I have been dicing my carrots up in tiny, tiny pieces so my lovebirds and parrotlets don't get choked! Learn something new every day! Your two are beautiful, carrot face and all!

That's why Casper gets the wet towel treatment. He is very good at flicking mango up the wall. :th_smile:

My birds use the perches to clean beaks. I do have a clear plastic shower curtain on the wall behind the cage though.
