Ah yes, were there buttons? You know how irresistible buttons are to parrots... and zips... and velcro... in fact any fastenings on clothing... and sequins... and beads... and earings... I could go on.

Nice work, Rosie!

She must have already had her way with the red PJ's you were modeling on FB a few weeks ago, ay?

Aww your poor p.j.'s. Guess maybe these will be something you could wear on top of another clothing for when Rosie decides to add her own style to your wardrobe!

Tony - I have been hiding my red farmer pjs from her. They are from Hollister and I really like them. Although Jef and the kids do not. I came down 2 nights ago in them for the first time. I was joking about how cute I looked and everyone was telling me the opposite. During the joking around Rosie said UP!!, and I distractedly obliged without thinking. Within 30 seconds she put a big hole in the shoulder. Ugh!! So I gave up and went and put on my usual holey sweats.

Alice - that is a good suggestion, if you have a normal parrot. :) However, Rosie will make holes in my clothing to get to what is underneath. She is like a looney clothing destroyer on steroids. :th_bounce7: I can't tell you how many tank tops have the straps chewed off the shirt...and this happens while I have another shirt on top.

It's my fault. When she was a baby at the store I would rock her to sleep before I left. She would gnaw on my shirt as she fell asleep. She was little so she didn't do any damage. But now, lookout! Totally my fault so I can't even get upset with her.

Kendra: Actually, I would have guessed by the look on your face in that FB photo that it was you who hated your red PJ's. Whereas your daughter appeared to be fairly amused in that snap. I took it to mean that she knew you were not comfortable wearing them, much less posing in them for a public photo. So it seems that I interpreted wrong :wink-new:. Since you actually love your "former" red PJ's, I think you should do another photo in them (or what's left of them) with Rosie on your shoulder. It would be interesting to see Rosie's signature alterations :)

Ahhh...no the look was bc everyone was teasing me and calling me a farmer cowboy from the 1800s. But I really like them. They are still fairly in tact besides the hole on the shoulder. I ran upstairs, wrestled Rosie off and saved them from her evil beak. Lol. However I am sure within the next few weeks, they will be filled with Rosie's alterations. I will have to remember to take a pic.

And now that you mention it, they DO look like the red long underwear you see all of the cowboy types wearing in those old westerns ;). I'm sure that everyone who has not yet seen you in them will enjoy your upcoming photo. Seeing Rosie and her handiwork will be an extra treat :D

I'm like Brandon, I have my Rosie wardrobe. Which is really about 1/2 my clothing at this point. Every time I forget and pick her up with street clothing on she will decorate it for me with holes. In the beginning I was resistant to having 2 sets of clothing. But after going out a few times and realizing I had holes in my tops while in public I came around.

She doesn't go to the bathroom on me, unless she is really mad at me. ;)

I should have taken a pic of my the pj's I had on yesterday. A red and white striped sock monkey onesie which I got for xmas this year. I love it. I wore it 1 time and Rosie got hold of the zipper. She crushed the zipper closed. So I had to break the zipper to get them off. Sigh... Since I do love them I still wear them. I just use clear shipping tape as the zipper. Which is insane but they are comfy. Last night my son was on FaceTime with a friend and recorded my getup without me noticing. Which promptly got the response of Hi Waldo!! From the kid. Ugh! Thank goodness my tape was holding. Rosie has now started working on the zipper teeth that remain. (It is a plastic zipper) [emoji33]
