Please don't think I am crazy but I just got the most fantastic broom that really cleans up any mess, especially dry bird foods that fall to the floor or carpet. Its called the Wisp. So I am Wisping away all the messes. I bought it on their web page because its much less there than amazon plus you get a neat little mini broom. Have a look -

I have a broom similar to that but it has a rubber bottom. This one seems to do a better job with the finer stuffs but I have square tiles on the floor where the birds are and each tile has 2 lines in them, you could say that I have a heck of a lot of grout lines without having the ceramic tile. Wondering how this would work with finely ground nuts in a non flat surface???? Think of belved edges along each edge of all the tiles plus the 2 in the middle.

I used it today on tile and carpet. Did a good job with cat litter and even feathers. Perhaps you could e mail the wisp people and ask about an uneven floor.

The dust pan would be great even if you didn't have the broom, but both look wonderful. Wonder how long before it comes to a brick and mortar store?

I think it can be found in home depot and bed bath and beyond.

Really, that would be good for me b/c we have a home depot not far from my job. We haven't been in there since the weather got cold but I will look next time. Thanks for the info.
