Her longest tail feather molted out yesterday. She inspected it and promptly threw it across the room. Poor girl has a stumpy tail. Well, stumpy for her anyway. ;)

The lady I care for loves Rosie's feathers. So I brought it over and told her it was Rosie's early xmas gift to her. She was thrilled.

Now we just need her new feather to come in. Hopefully Santa will sprinkle a little xmas magic on her when he comes next week. :th_santa3:

Tail feather's are the most colorful, what a great present that was for the lady you care for. I'm sure Rosie will still share lots of Christmas cheer even if she has to wait a bit longer for her new feather.

Rosie has been a little devil this week. Lots of pinching and hard grabbing. My arms are covered in bruises from her "fun" games. She had better shape up. Lol. Our elf on the shelf Bob may be reporting her mischief to Santa when he gives his reports on the kids. Then she will be in real trouble. No one likes coal in their stocking! ;)

Yayyy Salsa! Rosie could care less about losing her tail feather. She just gets cranky when the new feathers start poking through and than poking her if we don't get the ends off quick enough.

I can't even imagine a macaw's tail feather on the floor!!..??. How special! :). I love picking up my cockatoo's molted feathers but their white and yellow tinged feathers, get sooo..boring!

Lol, it's funny. I think the red, blue & green combo is boring. A white with yellow would be awesome!!
