It is so true. I know there are many days I feel like I am in way over my head with Rosie. I had NO idea of what I was getting myself into. I am committed to her and love her though, so we are in it for the long haul. For people who don't view their animals as family, it would be a great reminder. BEFORE they commit to bringing a parrot home!
