Boo left the nesting Box!!

I had been seeing Boo looking out the nesting box. This morning, my wife was walking by the door and looked in and Boo was sitting in the food bowl with Mango, the Dad watching and teaching. Rio, Mamma was around too. This is a short video I captured of some of the training. It's not great, but I just had to share!! We feel like proud parents watching their child walk for the first time

Boo is growing up so fast!!!

That means its time to put Boo in his own cage if he is totally weaned. Its usually at this time the parents may kick him out of the nest box anyway.

They both are still feeding boo and pumpkin but mango was trying to show him the seed bowl today! gonna get another cage this week.

Mango is a good Daddy too. He knows what to teach them instinctively I guess. His instinct will soon be telling him to mate again with Rio unless you take out the nest box when it has served its purpose.

Look at him, standing so tall and preening just like Mom and Dad! That is the first time I saw him standing straight up!

boo was hatched oct 26 and pumpkin was on nov 2, so just a bit behind! Hopefully soon Pumpkin will come out too!
