Whew! Everyone's settled and covered. My budgies go easily, they're sleepy by now.
Now my conure........sigh!
She knows when I'm taking her to her cage for the night (not just a break) and that's when it starts.....the clinginess and reluctance to go in, then when she's in the loud complaints follow. As soon as I cover the cage, she knows the party is over and gives up, but talks up a storm, calls me politely, and blows kisses from under the blanket which yank hard at my heart strings. And no matter how hard I try to sneak silently past, the kissing noises and polite calling ensue.
It's so damn cute!:th_bounce4::th_laughing6::th_tease::th_cheer ::smiley-bird-emotico

Haha a few of mine do that but I tell them goto bed and they usually settle right in as well, my baby girl the harlequin macaw won't goto bed unless I as night baby and then she whispers goodnight and away she goes:). Such sweet creatures to be saying goodnight back only something a parrot owner can understand!
