In the last couple weeks Riley has gotten destructive. First I removed his bird kabob because it was the only 100% shreddable toy in his cage and had been there for about 6 months. Well Riley destroyed the rope that held the toy I replaced it with together so he now has several toy pieces on the cage floor. Yesterday he wouldn't shut up for anything so after I got off work this morning I put the bird kabob back in the cage where Riley is happily shredding it so it almost looks like snow falling inside his cage oddly enough we are expecting our first snow fall any day now. Maybe he is trying to help it along.

Good for him, Casper ignored his kabob as well so eventually we took it away. He is, at the moment, working on his cuttlefish which "accidentally" came off its mounting in his beak. I expect the area around his cage to look like there has been an explosion in a meringue factory by the time he is ready to retire for the night. Perhaps we should get the kabob out again, who knows, there may be a hunting season for them in parrot world.

Well he has been very quite today so I'm glad as its hard to sleep when your bird insists on being loud.

Sometimes if our Birds get too loud I will put on soft music and it seems to calm them down.

Music (any kind of music) makes him louder
