View Full Version : Grooming, coincidence..?
I've not noticed this with the bigger cockatoos, Amigo and Sassy but Chip and Jellybean will groom themselves at the same time. They don't live together in the same cage but Chip is normally hanging out somewhere on or near the cage that Jellybean is in. I'm beginning to think that my Jellybelly is a copy cat :). Has anyone else noticed their birds doing this while in close proximity of each other?

I have heard they can imitate each other but I only have Rosie. How's Miss Jellybelly? Has her coloring changed as she has matured a bit?
PeachyDoll, she's getting a little bigger but her colors are about the same, I'll get a new pic up soon. She's a funny little thing, quite the climber!

I only have Rosie, so no experience. But since they are flock animals, it makes perfect sense that they would groom at the same time. :)

My guys always groom at the same time and on the same perch. Lots of allopreening also.
