Rosie has become obsessed with getting to my crochet. She knows she is not supposed to touch it so she tries to sneak chew. :) It was ridiculous right before I started filming. She was sneaking up and then walking backwards if she thought I was looking.

A bit later we were playing and she made her first kiss sound. Woohoo!!

I am getting sick, so I apologize for my appearance. It has been a rough day.
I loved them! What a wonderful relationship you girls have :). Such a smarty pants, too! She knew she shouldn't be getting into your crotchet! :)

Nice to see such play with you two. She would never tolerate another bird in your home. No share my mommy!
What a cutie she is, when she wants to be right. HAHAHA climbing right onto your head, nah you'll never think she was heading for your crochet.

Thanks everyone. She really is amusing in her antics to try to get to my crochet. The way she so unsneakily sneaks reminds me so much of a toddler. :)
Poor Rosie wants to put a hole in my projects so badly. She also loves the needles. I have had her beak wrapped around one end while working with the other. Thankfully she can't crush the needles. I am guessing she believes she is helping? Lol.
Dianne - there is no way she is sharing me with another birdie. She barely tolerates the humans and dogs wanting my attention. When Rosie was a baby I brought her home a bit early and handfed her. (This is not something I would recommend, btw) I had to bring her back the the store every few days for her to be weighed to be sure she was doing well. Well, one day Big Blue, my favorite Hy was out and I wanted to cuddle with him. I asked the employees to keep Rosie away from having me in her line of vision so I could hold him. (I knew from past experience Mommy cuddling someone else was unacceptable). They laughed, rolled their eyes and took her to weigh her. As I was mid snuggle with Big Blue I hear chaos. Bird screaming, startled humans, flapping, the whole shebang. I look over and thinking I was a dope, they did not listen to me. Rosie could clearly see me holding another bird and went haywire. The employees were shocked and she didn't calm down until Big Blue was back on his stand. Even then she needed to be cuddled a bit before the green eyed monster completely disappeared. But there you go, even from the tender age of 5 months, my girl would not even think of sharing HER Mommy with another feathered creature. So no more birds for us.
