Is that a stuffed animal in the cage? Photos are wonderful and I can see Dad is having so much fun with the babies. How is the hand feeding going? The feather colors are a mystery. Blue? How about he remaining eggs, are they still in the nest? Sorry for all the questions but I am very curious as to your progress. Thanks for posting.
Great shots! Such adorable little guys :D. I'm going to put another one of them up on our FB page.

Hi Dianne! I talked with an avian vet and decided to wait a bit longer to handfeed, tried it with Boo and she did not accept the syringe. The vet said to hold off a little longer on the feeding attempt. But every time I clean the breeder box I interact with them to get them used to hands our voice's and face's!! And yes that is their binkie bunny rabbit in a holding brooder while I clean the box and they snuggle right up to it! A baby is a baby I guess no matter what species!!!! Vet said to handle the toy bunny to get our scent imprinted on it so they will retain scent of our hands and associate hands with something as nice and nothing to fear. Boo seems to look blue but in the pics color seems green??? Pumpkin is more orange and so tiny to be just one week behind Boo.....

They are so sweet. Was pumpkin preening already? Love how they snuggle up.

Hi Kendra! It sure looked like Pumpkin was preening , I had not noticed that until I read your post!!!! Rio just pinched me on my forearm while I was changing the water out drew blood too. Those little beaks are razor sharp! I hope she mellows out in time. How is Rosie doing today?

Charlie, I always say I am more nervous around the little beaks than the big ones. The little guys don't joke around. :) Rosie is fine, preening on her stand as I type. Almost time for the diva yo go to sleep. I hope your cut heals quickly!
