So it's no secrete birds hate trying new foods. Apparently since my MSBS order my birds have forgotten this. They have had NO problems eating the herb salad, red palm oil (which turns Rileys white face orange), pine nuts or harrisons adult lifetime mash.

My birds love the herb salad. Sometimes I mix with crushed egg shells and help seed.

Definitely a win-win situation when they eat what we know is good for them.

Excellent!

I am not surprised about the pine nuts. At the store where I got Rosie they call them birdie crack. I always give some to the birds that are in cages when I go. Something yummy to brighten their day. :)

Lol that's usually what millet is called. I'm just surprised at their willingness to eat new foods

Ahhh, don't know much about millet. I think that is a smaller bird treat?? :)

Typically yes because the seeds themselves are tiny.

I just cannot seem to keep enough millet sprays available. I do not feed it every day because they are empty calories but when I lay a spray on cage top it gives my birds exercise they need to eat the seeds. Does anyone have recommendations for the best kind?

My birds are lucky if they get it once a month and when they do I cut it up and put it in their foraging toys so they have to work for it
