Rosie and Ash have been having an argument today over who is my favorite baby girl. I started recording bc I found it highly amusing.
I got this instead...

Aww, having favorites is difficult. Maybe a different word should be used. Or said with an additional word or words. My favorite human baby girl..... My favorite red baby girl....
Rosie seemed to do well with her flight till she had to make a turn unto a place she was not prepared to land.

Alice - agreed. I actually called Rosie my baby girl which Ashie overheard. Ashie insisted she was my favorite baby girl and I told her she was my favorite baby girl that I grew. Then Rosie got herself involved and they were bickering back and forth. Very funny.
Rosie is getting a bit better with her flying. Kooky red headed girl.

I bet you wish Rosie could fly outdoors safely.

Honestly, I wish Rosie was living with other GWs in her natural habitat. She would be so much happier. It is so sad that I realized that I think parrots should be free and not pets after bringing Rosie home. Obviously pet parrots should not be set free. Just wish they had a better quality of life as compared to their free flying relatives.

She maneuvers well and her landing wasn't bad. it could of been much worse like falling off the table to lol. She did good.

Ok.. Yes..you didn't know better when you brought Rosie home..but..you brought her to a loving home and she is a most fortunate bird. Crashes happen and thankfully she wasn't hurt! :). All we can do with these guys is the BEST we can. Most importantly, stay positive!

I don't know about you, Kendra..but I let my feelings be known about breeding these honorable beings for captivity. To me it's along the lines of being bred into slavery..sad, indeed.
