So the kids had off today. They went out for lunch and were going to a movie after. The movie was sold out, so they came home and we rented a movie from Amazon.

As we were watching the movie Connor and I were sitting on the couch and Ash on a chair. Rosie was on the arm of the couch next to me hoping I would be distracted by the movie enough to allow her to continue her destroy the couch project. Bailey hopped up on the couch to be with Connor. Generally Bailey and Rosie have an unspoken agreement that they pretend the other doesn't exist. So I didn't pay much attention and got engrossed in the movie. Bailey put her font paws on me and was leaning in to sniff Rosie's beak. (Believe me, this is not something that happens normally. The ladies just don't interact). Anyway, I was just registering this when Rosie looks Bailey right in the eye, says "NO" and goes back to doing her pedicure. Bailey goes back to her spot, Connor starts laughing and my mouth was hanging open. I confirmed with Connor that Rosie reprimanded Bailey and Rosie looks at Bailey and says "NO" again. This time followed by a happy dance. Lol. Rosie knows she and the dogs aren't allowed to interact and was making sure Bailey was not going to break the rules.

So I was wondering if anyone else's birds enforce the household rules?

OH my goodness what an entertaining group of animals you have there. I guess if Rosie was a small bird this may not have happened.

I love it! Yes, we have a Sassy girl to enforce the rules around here. No dog, or human, within a five foot radius of her Tim.

Kendra, Sassy and I get along pretty well, we get along better when Tim isn't in the picture but she tolerates me when she is with him. She's such a funny being...I'm not sure if she's being hormonal when she's sweet or if she's being hormonal when she's a monster! She has two sides to her self!..!..?

Sassy is just like most of us girls then. Lol... ;)

Funny story about both Rosie with Bailey and Sassy! Maybe one day Lady will tell me "what's the matter" in stead of asking me when she knows she's too loud as she is often told when she asks as I give her the evil eye.

We don't have any other pets..just the 4 birds....but when Seminole starts her screaming and hollering..Monte now says shut up.. Which is something that seminole said from her previous owner..so.. She has quite an extensive vocabulary.. And Monte learned that...so now we get the macaw blast in the form of ..SHUT UP...how fortunate... When we have company and the parrots all start going off...its better to hear that than hear Seminole say she's going to f us all up(previous owners)..
