Yep, Casper enjoyed watching that sitting on my shoulder. He went oooh when the owl swallowed the mouse whole and made his happy noises when the Lorris were eating their apple. I'm not quite sure why they keep those native to Australia birds caged though.

Nice video. Shame to see native birds caged. Just go bird watching!

Haha Casper was obviously paying more attention than me. Nightjars, related to kingfishers. There, I was listening really. I was a bit puzzled by the eyes which on predators like owls and hawks face forwards whereas birds that are preyed upon have their eyes at the sides of their head. The Nightjar, whilst they seemed to be on the sides in some shots, when it was facing towards the camera you could see both its eyes like an owl.
I'm not a great fan of birds that work the night shift - when I was a kid I was often kept awake at night by a Nightingale singing right outside my window.
Parrots are sensible, they like a good night's kip.
Nice video. The camera person got some very close shots!
Nice! Although I agree these native parrots shouldn't be kept in cages, we gathered lots of info about them :)
