Hello to all people and parrots peeking at the screen from shoulders near and far!
I recently adopted a GCC about a month ago, she's a 4 year old rescue from some bad experiences, but she's adjusting very well so far (we both are!).
Learning as I go along, and have 2 budgies that I've had for about 7 yrs. I'm afraid for them to have too close of contact, because they have always been flighted, very tame, and free to come and go as they please.
My conure, Nikka, was a fairly severe plucker when I got her, but her feathers are growing back as she stopped plucking the second day home. We are very strongly bonded, and I'm absolutely crazy about this bird. She's sitting on my wrist now.
So I guess that's my intro, hope I didn't go on too long!
