Wild Seabirds Dying

Wild Seabirds are dying from plastic thrown in the waterway by humans. Some photos are hard to look at. Back when I was a kid there were no plastic containers and no birds dying from human trash. This is not progress.

There's a movie about this, but they never got the funds to complete, its called "Midway a message from the gyre" so sad, the pics are hard to look at and the trailer even more heart wrenching.

Can you please give us a link. Where I used to live there was an open dumpster where all kinds of wildlife ate from. A Coopers hawk laid in wait for his dinner. I saw lots of birds eating garbage, including non food items. I begged the owners to get a dumpster with a top but it never happened.

This phenomenon is truly tragic! Too many of man's profit systems and convenience structures have such negative impact upon nature :'(
