Identify this cockatoo

It looks like a red tailed black cockatoo, its stunning.

I'm so in awe of Australia, they have some of the most beautiful birds in the world there.

Yes Mr P is right. I just googled it because I didn't know what species it was. They are stunning with those gold specks.

Gorgeous bird!!

This is a female. The male is jet black, with a broad band of bright red in his tail and a dark grey beak.

The female is duller black, with yellow speckles on the head and breast, and yellow patches in her tail. Her beak is whitish in colour.

Immature birds resemble the female.
