Why. Oh Why??

We are leaving for vacation a week from today. I am already struggling with the usual Mommy guilt.

Rosie has been dropping 20+ feathers daily for the last week and is still going. She feels like a pin cushion and is too sensitive for me to be much help. I am hoping to be able to preen her before we leave. Poor girl is going to resemble a porcupine and be super cranky if she has all those feathers poking through while we are away.

Poor Rosie and my poor Mom. Murphys Law I guess but sheesh!!

Poor Rosie.......... give her an extra shower to help her preen away her ouchies. If she goes to sleep earlier each evening then she won't be fussing with herself while she rests. It can help make for a bit of a better day the next day.

True. She showers with me daily. I guess I could give her 2 a day. She fully soaked herself yesterday, which seems to be a once weekly thing . The good news is my mom will put her in the shower. She does draw the line at showering with Rosie though. Lol

oh poor Rosie. Those darn Pin feathers they are such a nuisance... lol :D
