Finally the book is done, and The Cockatoo Called is off to the editors! Reviews from beta readers have been great!! The final book should be out this fall!
Just out of curiosity, what do you all read the most of, ebooks or print books? I don't really know what the trend is anymore, although my books come in both forms.
So excited to have gotten this far!

Well done, I tend to read short stories on the laptop when home but avidly devour proper books when on holiday or on the boat.

:congrats5: on the completion of your new book. If I had a kindle, I'm sure I would use it, but for now paper works for me.

Hmmm, probably not! I'm in the middle of writing the cockatiel book, have started the macaw book, and have started one with a quaker, raven, and parakeet! But for me, this is fun!!

I agree!!
And being able to write about parrots, combining both interests, has been awesome!

Hi, Rachael :). Congrats on finishing your book! That's awesome!! I'm also in the process of writing about my life with Amigo and hope it goes on forever but will have some full recordings, soon. Are your stories fantasy or true stories..? Just curious :)

Although my first book, The Parrot Told Me was loosely based on adopting an already talkative African grey, the rest of the story is purely fiction!
My next one has a cockatoo which I have fostered for a while. I try to write in a mystery around my feathered characters, but yep, just my imagination. :)

I look forward to reading your true story!!
