Rosie LOVES to put holes in my shirts. I have at least 20 that have holes. She really loves fabric. She will go after my couches, my comforter and Jef's pillow (of course only Jef's) if I'm not mindful.

Yesterday, as I was folding laundry and saw holes in yet another top I came up with an idea. I tied a shirt around her stand in my room. So far, it's a hit. Mind you, I am always in the room, so it's not a safety concern.

This shirt is a Calvin Klein and she is loving it. I guess my diva likes designer toys. ;)

Maybe your diva HATES Calvin Klein? She's too funny.

I noticed your shirt in the apple videos yesterday and thought it was probably Rosie's doing. I'd wear the same shirt all the time or rotate 2 different holey shirts just for her. :th_biggrin:

Yes, that was her doing.

I do have "Rosie" shirts and tanks and pants. A whole holey Rosie wardrobe. I can't even imagine what the food delivery guys think. There are some days that I come home and she is yelling and the kids and Jef are annoyed. Those are the days I get her out of her cage before changing. She inevitably puts a hole in what I am wearing. So my "Rosie" pile keeps on growing. ;)

They are thinking, "WOW they have a HUGE moth problem in that house." :th_biggrin:

Is it nesting behavior? This is one reason I shop at the goodwill store for my t shirts. My Linnies do not do that yet. I still have t shirts from Rosie the African grey I had.
(yes another rosie)

Dianne - Love that your Grey was named Rosie. :)

No, I don't believe it is nesting behavior. She isn't doing anything but grinding holes and moving on to another spot. She is actually arguing with me about my comforter as I type this. She just likes the way fabric feels. I think she prefers that to wood or hard plastic.
