Under $400 but only 3 foot tall but with 1x1 openings with a top. I am thinking about building a 2' tall wooden base that I will just step over when I get into the flight. I will be putting down wire base with cement pavers on top to keep birds from digging out/ other things from digging in. I think this would work great for any bird I don't have to worry about wiggling out of the 1" space!

.....well I got a pic of it to come up. Go to Lowes and type in Dog Kennel. This one even mentions you can use it for birds.

Shelly Home Depot also has one that is more expensive but has 1 inch spacing Is covered and it is six feet high. Check all their dog kennels before you make a decision. I looked at both sites yesterday after reading that other post

I think the Lowe's site was down earlier. The link didn't work for me so I went directly to the site and it said it was down.

This looks great! I'd consider it if I didn't already have half of my aviary ready just need to the other half and we are ready to build! I'll see if I can't get some photos up once we get it all up and toghether.

Great idea Shelly! I use the 5'X10'X6' professional dog kennels in my house for my macaws from Lowe's. I have been very pleased with being able to walk into their home & do what I need without becoming a contortionist to reach all nooks & crannies like in cages.
