As many of you know, my wife and I breed birds......were in Canada and there arent many options for companion birds other than from people like us.Anyway judgements aside ,we are expecting our Military macaws 3 eggs to hatch in the next few days as well as our Grand Eclectus eggs to hatch.Always a treat when new life is welcomed here. Fingers crossed all goes well.I will eventuallyost some pictures

Congratulations on the eggs, may they all hatch and grow healthy with your loving care. Do you breed any smaller birds and where are you located in Canada? (province)

I had no idea you had so many species breeding. What is a calico macaw? My Linnie breeder strives for green because it is their natural color. Tango had 4 green clutch mates. She is now trying to get a license to breed golden conures. Do Linnies breed all year long?

Best of luck with hatching healthy babies. Don't forget to take photos for us.

The Calico is a hybrid between a greenwing and a military macaw. We dont breed to create hybrids...this pair happened to need a home.We have yet to have them produce...they may never. We have a tendency to take in birds as well that need homes. Its amazing how many people find birds disposable.I hate the line "moving and cant take them with us".Myself, if I was moving one of the requirements would be my entire family is able to move...
