Love the grrr sound.
What a good Daddy Salsa has. He is loving his preening. When he grabbed your hand with his beak I had to laugh. Rosie holds one of my hands with her beak while I preen her with the other. :)

Salsa is so cool has he ever bit hard?Yes, absolutely. A few days after he came to live with me I went to move him from his playgym to his cage and he let me have it! It actually did nerve damage to my thumb. I was unsure whether the numbness would be permanent - I ended up getting my full sensation back after around 8 months or so. And then he bit my thumbnail extremely hard another time in response to my getting the dremel tool too close for his comfort. He's very afraid of certain clipping and grinding devices. Yet another time he broke the skin on my finger while I was holding Zaf on my other arm. Most of the time he's really good and careful, though. I just have to remember not to wear my serious-looking reading glasses when I'm near him! He hates those!! ;)
Now who taught him to belch, or where did he hear it so much that he picked it up.....hummmm, LOL!
I love seeing birds enjoying a scratch!

Salsa's eye rolled up in his head while you were giving him his head scratch, so cool to see him loving this!

I love seeing birds enjoying a scratch!Actually, I didn't teach him to burp. He learned it from Terrie's husband, Rich. But I'll admit that he and I do have some awesome burping competitions ;). He usually always wins, too!
Salsa seems to be a perfect name for him.

They just love getting their pin feathers groomed don't they? Rosie wants it 4 times a day, everyday.
