You are on vacation 12 hours from home and visit a nearby store that has parrots DAILY just to chat with and visit the macaws.

Please share the silliness of your life as a parrot owned human. ;)

You know your husband is owned (despite his resisting for years and denying it ) when one of the macaws you are visiting while on vacation fluffs up and squats. "Poooop!", he says laughing. Which makes me laugh bc only a parrot owned human would know that a poop comes after the fluff/squat. ;)

when...you are on vacation and missing your birds more than your kids! Or..an almost scary one for me is when...you know exactly what they are thinking! :)

You go shopping for grocery's and pick out the best fruit and veg for the birds before you even consider what you might buy for yourself.

When your bird decides what you eat in the morning...based on how they all feel...and you have to sneak your meal...which they don't approve of...I don't eat a lot of carbs for breakfast..some fresh fruit is OK..but man .that's all they want me to eat.. Even with their chop in their cages...lol

When you just can't go past the baby department or the toy section just to see if there might be something you can use to make a entertaining toy for your bird.

When you spend time and effort as well as tons of money on really interesting colorful toys you know your birds will love only to come home to find your birds HATE the new toys cowering in fear and refuse to go near them causing you to dump the evil new toys in a container where they sit never being touched again.

And you can't imagine why they don't like what you so happily chose for them. Man I hate that!!!!!
