Hurts my ears just to listen to the video. Cant imagine what its like in person.Indeed! To be in Maynard's real presence is a bit of a painful experience, let me tell you :th_shakehead:. His repeating blasts hurt my head! But I love the little noise machine. Most of the time, anymore, Salsa takes Maynard's perpetual blasting in stride. But as you can see, he'll still comment that it's "loud!"

You may have been thinking "wow" (due to Maynard's intensity) and somehow imposed your thought over one or more of Salsa's utterances - I'm not sure. Now his first "loud" in this clip is kind of slurred and he was as well a distance from the camera, so there was certainly room for improvement as far as clarity goes. But the very last "loud" he asserted toward the end of the clip (i.e., the 2nd one after he stepped onto the wooden perch) is about as clear as his "loud" exclamations ever get. After all, he's a bird and he's not a grey or a zon. I think he does a pretty fair job for a macaw, though :D

He's perfect when he says loud, at first with Maynard yelling behind him I was thinking WOW and thought I heard that but I've seen lots of your clips and know Salsa is very capable of saying LOUD often. I love that he says it. :th_biggrin:
