When I play the clip SPX freaks out screaming angrily back at the little beasts.

They do sound like angry squeaky toys. I had a buddy who bred these birds and had a huge colony cage with 6 different families of 30 some odd parents and chicks. The massive aviary cage was in a separate room next to his media room where he watched tv, we were watching the news one afternoon and I couldn't hear the tv from the many crazed peeps coming from the finches off in another room.

When I mentioned this to my buddy he laughed and yelled "SHUT UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!" at the top of his lungs and all the little finches instantly shut up. Not one peep out of them for 5 seconds and then they just started calling and peeping again like they heard nothing. :th_rofl:


He said he's blocked them out and doesn't hear them anymore. :th_biggrin:
