Hello all,
I'm sure no one would get caught up in this, but just because it's out there here goes.We were contacted by a person claiming an urgent need to re home a proven pair of his.They were transferred from Philidelphia to Delaware and for some reason it was to expensive to bring these with them.So they are offering them(not that they even exist)for $1000.What a bargain.Money must be received before she will use an agent to transport them, their cage and all accessories.This person does the same with horses and bull dogs....Remember if it sounds way to good to be true it likely is.

Uggh! I agree, if it sounds too good to be true, chances are it is.

The person placing the ad is likely not even living on this continent. A great many of the Hyacinth scams originate from Cameroon African. There is a concentrated network of swindlers in that country. Thanks for sharing.

Very few Hy up for sale. I think there is only one or two breeders in US.

There are actually more than that, Dianne. I can think of 4 or 5 right off hand. Whether or not and how often they have babies available is another story. Hy breeders typically have waiting lists because getting Hys to produce can be a difficult and inconsistent feat. And then it takes good experience and a special touch to facilitate survival of the young birds. Successful breeders of these blue beauties have to be quite dedicated. And those scammers absolutely make me sick :upset:
