Hey everyone just wondering if anyone has used or know if this type of air purifier would be safe for birds?

I checked on reviews of this product and they are not so good. [Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]
and one more [Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] If you really want a good air cleaning I can personally suggest Rabbit Air. When I had a African Grey this unit really pulled in the feather dust. Yes, it is more expensive but well worth it in the long run. Filter changes are only once per year. I used my vacuume cleaner weekly on the filters. (there are 5) [Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]

Any air purifiers with an ionizer are suppose to be a big NO NO when you have birds especially smaller birds. The ionizer can harm your bird if you have it turned on. I have a couple of air purifiers and they both have ionizer switches on them that I have blocked so the switches can't be accidentally turned on.
I wouldn't buy an air purifier that doesn't have a separate switch to turn off the ionizer function.
I have a Honeywell tower a/p with 2 filters that need to be replaced I also have a Bionaire that has a replaceable filter. I hate the Honeywell tower as I couldn't find the filters I needed anywhere in any stores in this large city, I ended up ordering filters online and paid through the nose for delivery for the expensive replacement filters that were $25.00 each.... so it was a huge rip off as far as I was concerned.
The Bionaire is a good product and works well removing dust from my budgies dander in the den where I work from home, you need to replace the filter yearly or less depending on the birds you have. The filter for the Bionaire is easy to buy Walmart and Hardware stores even in Shoppers Drug Mart, there are different types of filters for allergy's dust etc.
Filters are not cheap and can cost about $20 and up in price per filter.
When buying an air purifier go to a store that has them on display so you can look at the filters and the types they use. There are machines that advertize permanent non replaceable filters that need to be vacuumed to clean them. This is a good option as you avoid buying the expensive replaceable filters.
Make sure to have the measurements of your room you want to run the air purifier in so you can estimate which machine will work for you in that area. When you go to a store that has the machines on display you can test to see which product is louder or quieter then the next.
I found the Bionaire a/p very quiet I will be replacing my Honeywell a/p with another Bionaire soon.
