I was wondering where everyone's parrots favorite perching spots on you are.
Rosie loves my shoulder but it is closely seconded by the top of my head. In fact, she is sitting and preening on my head as I type. Which ultimately makes me look like I have a fantastic case of dandruff (besides being a crazy person). :) She enjoys hanging down from my hair and pinching my nose, ear, or any other part of me she wants while perching on my head. Apparently, it's a lot of fun!! ;)

Right now my birds are not perching on me because of the awful wing clip. They spend most of the day in the cage and it really distresses me. If they are out of the cage they fall to the floor and run under the furniture. In normal circumstances they prefer the shoulder but tend to fall of there too.

My birds are not people perchers so I envy anyone who has a bird that will sit on them and hang out.
When Lady and I hang out I tend to move about our space, but when I'm ready to settle down I'm more stretched out so she tends to be on my legs. She often attempts to go toward my shoulder but I don't like her there because I have less control of her.

Unfortunately Rosie doesn't perch on me yet. We are trying to get her out of a hormonal stage that her last owner had her in for 4 years. Hopefully it doesn't take her 4 years to come out of it. She starting laying eggs at the age of 27 :( due to inappropriate petting, he wasn't aware he was stimulating her. So she has a serious thing for men. She has grabbed me twice and so we are slowly building our trust bond. She always me to groom her head and release her pin feathers daily. But she is my husband's bird, she is in love with him. So her favorite spot is on his arm and resting her head against his shoulder. She's such a love bird.

Kendra, how about a wing photo? You'd probably have to set your camera to panaramic

Lol. I will try. Rosie isn't all that cooperative when it comes to spreading her wings. My ornery girl...

Kalea loves her built in perches, good thing I am not flat chested in the least. Actually, as long as she is on me in some way, shape for form she is happy as a Lark or is that Macaw.
Donovan he likes those perches too but in the mornings when I take him out he likes stand on them or my left arm that is bent and against my body for some snuggles or sometimes one foot is on that perch while the other foot is standing on my left arm and the head is then down further with the beak resting in the crook of my inner elbow getting his morning lovings. Now if we are watching tv, he is usually on my left shoulder, tail up, head down on the chest and soaking up all the lovings that way. a lot of the times he will also have grabbed the inner wing feathers with his foot and then leans his body into my head.
Jody just want to sit on the left shoulder.
