Hi guys! I'm not sure if this pic is going to show up or not :(. My photobucket, as usual, is on strike! Tim and I made it to Bogata, I don't recommend EVER trying to catch a connecting flight from Mexico City!

I spoke with my daughter this morning, she's been helping take care of our home/animals, all is going well..I'm so thankful! I would be a mess if it wasn't! She let Amigo out yesterday and the only issue she had with him was when it came time to put him back in his cage. He gripped her hand so tight, his nail punctured her skin! He's been known to do that, I had forgotten to mention to her, "how to get Amigo back in cage". Anyways, she now knows my secret :)

I hope everyone and their birdies are doing well, I'll catch up later, gotta run! :)

Unfortunately the link doesn't work for me Mare.

I'm glad to know you are having a good time and trying to share pics with us and that Amigo and the fids are doing well under your daughter and sons care.

When you get back maybe you can try and open a free photo account with minus.com... its a good site and easy to use you won't get the issues most of us have had to deal with by using photobucket.

Same problem here Mare. I just attach pics directly to the forum from my phone which is also my camera. Don't know if you can do that but if yes, it may be easier.

So glad you made it safe and sound, besides the connecting flight.

Happy the animals are all happy. Sorry about your daughter's hand! I can relate, Rosie is a pita to get in her cage. I told my mom the trick, but she forgot. She has a couple of bruises from Rosie's death grip with her beak before she finally remembered. It's funny how we all have tricks to make daily life a bit easier. :)

Wonderful to hear from you so far away. You need a Microsoft account to open the pic. We can wait till you get back. Don't worry about photos now.

Thanks, guys! Sorry the pics aren't coming up :( for some reason it works for me..?..Mr. Peeps, I'll have to check out minus.com, thanks. We are having a wonderful time, Tim's never been farther south than Mexico and he was apprehensive about what he was getting into but he's happily, right at home here :). Hi Mare. I'm glad to hear that your trip is progressing nicely and that the home front remains intact.

So, do you plan on seeing and perhaps photographing some parrots while you're migrating around the land of their indigenous habitat? Just curious :D
