Amazing Bird Rescue

Ron Holan of Norway accidentally hit a bird with his car, he stopped and heard the bird chirping it was alive but wedged under his roof storage box on top of the car. He did some careful maneuvering and got the little guy out and took it into his car to warm it up and let it rest.

It didn't look good for the little bird but the warmth and time in the car to recover was exactly what the little bird needed. Have a look at the video, and thank you Ron Holan for saving this little birds life. :th_smile:

Cool, I would have been too busy doing the rescue to think about taking video. Its a good job the birdy didn't realise that the packet was full of nuts, he might have wanted to stay in the car.

I thought it was a good idea that bird couldn't read where it was resting, if it had found a way into that packet I'm sure the video would have been a lot different and we might have seen Rob Holan giving the bird the boot out of his car. :th_biggrin:

I was very pleased to see the way it ended, I was worried from the way the bird looked when he held it in his hand after he got it from out of the roof rack that it didn't look very promising.

Such a tiny little guy. So very glad there are folks like Ron who took the time to see just what happen to the bird, and then to have such a happy ending was very heartwarming~ It was hard to watch in the beginning!
