Thanks Dianne. I think he's pretty smart and special, too. There are so many things he does and says that I've not been able to capture on video during the 3 years he's lived with me. The problem is that he knows when I want him to do/say certain things and he tends to deliberately clam up at those times :th_shakehead:. I thus have to try and capture what I can at random. Ah well :(

Do Zaf and Salsa get along together?I think they finally tolerate each other. And I think Salsa genuinely likes Zaf... although he does respond to him like a sarcastic smart aleck on occasion by stretching his face as far over into Zaf's face as he can and then burping at him as he stares directly into his eyes - that's one scenario I've been trying to get on video for years! As for Zaf, he feels he possesses unsharable rights to the turf he has claimed (i.e., me ;)).

Very cute! I was just watching a clip where Salsa was making a call and Zaf was behind him in his cage rocking out and making the same loud call. Salsa looks over and sees Zaf making the same noise and dance and stops in his tracks. He's so tuned into everything around him. :th_biggrin:

I find it quite amusing :th_biggrin:

Salsa does quite a few sounds/mimics that I've not been able to catch on video yet. He actually does them all the time... but it never fails that when the camera comes out he immediately stops doing them. He does a monkey as well and a hilarious human laugh. He mimics a boat load of additional sounds, too. It's frustrating that I've not been able to catch many of them on camera yet. :(

Well one day you might just get lucky and pass a flea market with a good price for a older movie camera that is still in fair condition but just older. Then you can keep it rolling for hours, he'll get use to seeing it and then viola~

Maybe his blushing stems from that pride and perhaps from a bit of modesty mixed in as well. It's hard to say :)
