His "I love you's" sound like a female because my friend Terrie taught him to say that... and she taught him the kissy noises, too. He's been learning deeper words and phrases lately from me, though. I think it's mostly whose voice they are patterning after that determines the voice(s) used for the things they learn. Sals can say "hello" in so many different tones and with so many different inflections that I can't even keep track of them.
