have dinner with anyone you admire from the past or present who would it be and what would you like to talk about? Please do this each time you log on and we will have lots to chat about. I will begin with:

OK I would love to have both dinner and breakfast the next morning with Jeff Bridges because there is so much to talk about with him. That gives me all night long with him. [Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]
He has made so many outstanding movies it blows my mind. I have seen every one of them plus his bio. He is a wonderful singer musician, artist, fisherman, actor, potter, husband, father. knitter, photographer, supporter of End Hunger Network ever since 1984 and much more. There is not a subject that he cannot speak to.

I am also a HUGE fan of Jeff Bridges.."The DUDE Abides!". If I could spend time with anyone,,it would be my mom who passed away 22yrs. ago and I've missed her every day since. We talked on the phone everyday, about nothing and everything. She was such an inspiration to me and still is. I've tried to raise my children in the same loving manner in which she raised me. I miss you Mom, Happy Mother's Day :toyou:

Mare you brought tears to my eyes.

Tonight's dinner will be with my 2 female hereos. Jane Goodall and Diane Fossey. Of course we would talk about their adventures and primates.

Ahh..yes, Jane and Dianne would be fascinating company! I think Angelina Jolie would be great company for an evening. I would love to hear the "inside" on her humanitarian efforts.

I would like to have dinner with Joan Rivers, I think she would be interesting to talk to about her career and how difficult it was for a woman to be a comedian in the early years. I would like to know who she admired and disliked and WHY she felt this way about certain people in her lifetime. I bet she could dish some real doozy info on some people!

I would actually defer dinner.. Eating gets in the way of the communication. But I'd have to say... Bruce Lee. He was always a childhood inspiration.. I got my first black belt in under 3 years.. Because i pushed hard to be like him..

Today I want to have dinner with Walt Disney, I'm sure he would be amazed at how computers are the wizards that maintain and create animation. I'd love to see his reaction to seeing a Pixar short like FOR THE BIRDS.

I'm sure he'd be impressed and would enjoy it. If not I'd have to take Walt to a nasty "Stripper Club." :biggrin-new:

All such good choices. My next meal would like to share with the wildlife photographer Art Wolf. I would like to chat with him about all the animals he has seen and places he went to see them. How long he waits for that perfect moment when the light is right. How he can restrain himself from helping an animal in trouble. How much longer he can do what he does.

Today I'm starving and I have no idea what to eat so I thought I'd change things up and ask a FOODIE to have a meal with me, someone like Gordon Ramsey or Nigella Lawson or better yet.... Anthony Bourdain. I know Anthony B is a huge fan of deep fried types of meats and veggies so it would be an interesting heart attack type meal with lots of ice cold beer and interesting conversations of his many trips across the world enjoying the cuisine of all the places he traveled.

Of course I'd ask him what was the grossest thing he ever ate and where was it he ate this. Just to be sure I wouldn't go there in the future to try this muck. :th_biggrin:

Today I want to have dinner with Donald Trump, the dinner would end with me being arrested by the police for attacking mr trump and cutting his hair with the steak knife I would have handy for my filet mignon.

I wonder if Mr Trump will look better or worse after I get done with him after my bad attempt at Mr Peeper's scissor hand touch? :th_biggrin:
