That is becoming Donovan's favorite spot to hang out on too. Can you imagine a 1570 gram Macaw have one foot on the shoulder and the other foot which has grabbed the wing feathers and then leans that side of his body into my head and just cuddles like that. Some times I can't believe how far down his head hangs without him falling forward.

Renee', I can imagine! Sassy's ..right foot,,?..is wrapped around her head/neck, leaning against Tim. These birds are special, indeed :). Not just Sassy..ALL birds!

People who don't have birds like us are very surprised when I tell them that birds can be as lovable as a dog or cat. Mine are.

Heck, YEAH! To me,.. birds are likely to dogs, likely to humans..maybe goats, (never had goats), definitely not cats..maybe pigs. :)
