Pete's gone..

I had to say goodby to my closest friend the other day, Pete. It broke my heart. Pete was our German Shorthair Pointer dog, going on 14yrs. old. It was time, his spirit was alive and well but he was just not able to tolerate life anymore, his body gave up. I found this and it made me cry..all over again..

It hurts so bad when we lose anyone, be it human, birdie or a pup dog. Every time you think of something that reminds you of him, try not to cry but know it is him saying "remember Mom when we did this or that'.
