I'm feeding Stitchy a combo of Zupreem pellets, fruit, vegetable and nut blends but I was wondering about the Goldenfeast fruit and nuts blends, would this be okay to give in addition to his pellets?

I give him a bit of conure seed mix as well so I was wondering If I could substitute the Golden feast for the seed mix because it seems to be healthier than what I'm currently giving.

If so which blend should I use? They only have a 28 ounce jar of conure Goldenfeast on Amazon. There are other blends in larger sizes that would be suitable for him but there are a lot to pick from.

Here is a link to large bags of goldenfeast conure blend. Its a good idea to feed only one brand of pellets. Reason is that if you feed multiple kinds of pellets the nutritional values can be off. I currently am feeding 3 different pellet kinds to see which one is preferred. Hands down it is Harrisons because the extra small is better consumed. As long as you measure out the seeds you are feeding you should be OK. Amount of seeds for a small bird is about 2 tsp. per day. Hi There,

Thanks for your reply! I do feed only one brand which is Zupreem pellets but in different flavors and mix it up in his dish, did you mean to say to feed only one flavor? Zupreem makes pellets for conures that come in fruit, nut and vegetable flavors.

Thanks for the link for the large bags of conure Goldenfeast! Just what I was looking for, yay!

I really don't like goldenfeast, a friend of mine was at their seminar.. they point blank said they buy most of their product from china exclusively as it gives them best profit.

Do you know of a company or brand that offers something similar to this where they get their products from some place else? Not too keen on China food products either.

I'm unsure of where each of their ingredient suppliers are located but you might call and ask them. Here's a link: [Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]

The ingredients look really good! I like that there's herbs in it as well. I think I'll purchase that one instead. Thanks!

I ordered a 5lb bag of the Bountiful Harvest last night. Anyone know how long it takes for the Safe store to ship out?

I get mine in about 1 week, but I'm in California so it depends on what state you're in.

I was wondering when it shipped out because I'm having problems with my login over there and can't check the status on it. I'm sure I entered it correctly but it keeps saying my user name or password is incorrect.

My orders usually ship one or two days after I place the order, depending on what time of day I order. Then it takes about five days to get to California from New Jersey(I think).
Does that help clear things up?

My Too got VERY sick on Goldenfeast she got a bacterial infection. Now the only snack I allow is from My Safe Bird Store. They have a wonderful mix. You can order it by the pound. It's very healthy. Plus she gets whatever fruit or veggie she will currently eat.

I finally received the Bountiful Harvest! They had a mix up with my order, apparently it didn't go through so I had to write them. I was going to give the mix as a nightly snack and just feed pellets during the day but it seems ok to feed throughout the day as well. I mixed in my own pellets but I purchased the bag that also came along with natural pellets so maybe I don't have to use my own?
