I have Stitchy in a decent sized travel cage on the bed, the door is open for most of the day,, he comes out and climbs around and cuddles next to me so he's not in there all the time. I spend most of my time in the bedroom on the bed, since it's warmer.

He does have a normal sized large cage that came with a stand but he prefers to be in the travel cage, he also sleeps next to me in his travel cage.

Since he prefers this arrangement do you think this is okay? Or should I make him stay in his big cage?

A difficult question. When you go out do you shut him in his big cage? Perhaps he needs to think of it as his place to sleep as well.
Logical solution: put big cage on bed.

I put him in big cage when I leave. I think he just wants to be near me at all times. Unfortunately the big cage won't fit on the bed otherwise I would put it on there :th_biggrin:

I would think it's ok as long as you don't knock the travel cage off the bed in your sleep. ;)
