Pasta in little sachets, just pour boiling water over or add cold water and microwave.
Lots of yummy ingredients to tempt your bird, you can even get mexican style or hawaiian style.
But Casper just picks out the pasta and leaves ther rest!

Nice. But beware of sodium content, MSG, and the like.

Where do you get these little sachets of pasta? Who makes them? This might be helpful for me to tempt Lady with as we seem to be at a standstill with finding a better treat to make her come out of her cage to interact.

Made by Prestige. Not sure if that is an American or UK company. I always presumed it would be American due to the limited market here.
Before committing hard earned beer vouchers try offering her some of your meal providing you don't cook with garlic. Nothing worse than a garlic breathing bird first thing in the morning.
Casper loves our's which is gluten free but he doesn't seem to worry.

Lady most always eats whatever I'm having whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. I enjoy sharing with her but am looking for something once again to help entice her out of her cage. For a time it was walnuts, cashews, then almonds but now its pistachios. Having only one bird and only trying a little of something is what I am looking for. I have purchased a bag of this and a bag of that and it seems most of it goes to the birds in the backyard if she doesn't care for it much. I do tend to mix it with her food as well. I guess I will go back to making a small amount of pasta Al dente and keep some in the freezer. It is fun to watch her slurp up angel hair pasta and in the shell shaped ones I put pieces of fruit sometimes.
I think it is a UK brand due to not finding it when I did a internet search.

Ah, I have just looked at the box of Prestige Mexican Spicy noodle mix and it is produced in Belgium by Versele-laga for the European market. Sorry to disappoint you. Looking at the ingredients there are two items at the end that I do not recognise: methionine and threonine.
We also have tried lots of products that end up getting given to the wild birds.

Looking at the ingredients there are two items at the end that I do not recognise: methionine and threonine.

Here's some basic information:

Methionine is an amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks that our bodies use to make proteins. Methionine is found in meat, fish, and dairy products, and it plays an important role in many cell functions.

Methionine is used to prevent liver ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]) damage in acetaminophen ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]) (Tylenol ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks])) poisoning. It is also used for increasing the acidity of urine, treating liver ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]) disorders, and improving wound healing. Other uses include treating depression ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]), alcoholism ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]), allergies ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]), asthma ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]), copper poisoning, radiation ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]) side effects, schizophrenia ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]), drug withdrawal, andParkinson's disease ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks]).

How does it work?

In acetaminophen poisoning, methionine prevents the breakdown products of acetaminophen from damaging the liver.

Threonine is an amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks the body uses to make proteins.

Threonine is used to treat various nervous system disorders including spinal spasticity, multiple sclerosis, familial spastic paraparesis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease).

How does it work?
Threonine is changed in the body to a chemical called glycine. Glycine works in the brain to reduce constant and unwanted muscle contractions (spasticity).
