Thought I would share a video Rosie and I made today. Please don't mind my hair or shirt - both were styled by Rosie. :th_eek:

Aww she loves you and so adorable. Rosie is good at making those T shirt holes. That's what you call play time with your bird. She looks so healthy and happy.

Dianne - she really is good at putting holes in all my clothing. It is crazy, I put sweats on as soon as I get home. There is nothing safe from that beak.
Jef saw the video and said, OMG, I can't believe you would post it looking like that!! The sweatshirt looks like Swiss cheese. ;)
A[Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] Rosie is such an adorable, loving girl. It's easy to tell that she truly enjoys life... that's so nice to see. And I think her beep-beeps are pretty darn cute :). BTW, who was doing the camera work? Or were you doing it with your feet, Kendra? ;) ...maybe Rosie taught you how to be dexterous with your toes?? ;) The orbital 360° targeting was magnificent! :D

Tony - she loves "beep beep". :)
LOL...I did the video holding my phone. Basically a selfie video. :) I found if I switch the camera so we can see what we are filming it works. Rosie sees herself and likes to talk to the birdy on the phone. ;)
Ahhhh, such fun being a jungle gym for such a big red beauty! The jungle gyms that get the most use are the most loved~ It sure looks like you both love each other and trust each other very much.
The beep-beep noise started how? I bet it is a cool story.
BTW, can you do like others do and set the video to private so only certain people see it. I think your swiss cheese shirt is all good, considering it's a good idea to wear what she has already marked for climbing and holding onto.

Alice - my mom actually taught her and my daughter reinforced it. :)

Once when I took Kalea to the vet a question asked was what was her favorite toy and I had to say me! She also loves climbing all over me. Usually when I have Jody on me (her spot is the left shoulder) and Kalea knows to stay out of striking distance so the rest of me is free range but mostly on the right side of the body. Right arm, hanging by beak from right fingers, laying on right boob, hanging from hip, butt, back, it doesn't matter, just as long as she is on me.
I too just love her beep-beeps.
Aww..that was PRECIOUS, Kendra! Yep, ther'e's nothing like those well worn sweatshirts :). I can see how Jef might be jealous of the time you spend with Rosie, she obviously loves you :love_heart:

Renee - I'm glad I'm not alone in being a play gym. :). There is no toy as fun as Mommy!! I can't imagine having two on me at the same time!!!
Mare - the really sad thing is that I just got that sweatshirt this summer. Rosie did all the wearing in for me. That happens to any top I forget to remove before holding her. Holes immediately. Sigh.... The fact that I find Rosie so endearing and she demands so much of my time doesn't help where Jef is concerned. That is for sure! :(

You're not alone, Kendra. I have a big pile of t-shirts which Zaf has riddled with his custom modifications ;). Maybe we could market such clothing items and start a new fashion trend? :th_biggrin:. We could give the line a catchy name, like "Jungle Abuse" or something :)

Margaret said you look like an angel when Rosie was hidden behind your head and all we could see was her wings flapping. I guess your old clothes get rejected by charity shops

Tony - I have no doubt we could! Upcycling is on the rise. I am always tempted to cut out graphics and sew them on a shirt or jacket. However, if I did all that work and wore it around Rosie, I would be really annoyed. Lol.
Jean Pierre - I believe that is the first time I have been compared to an angel. Thank you Margaret - I will let Rosie know. ;)
True, no one wants my hand me downs anymore. The kids and Jef know not to let her near them in normal clothing. I hear yells of NO! Rosie, get off, I like this shirt, jeans, hairband... on a regular basis. Her favorite activity is chewing on cloth. Kooky girl.
Is there such a thing as "chew bones" for birds?...hmmm..
Remember that blanket you made that she adopted....does she chew on it like she does your shirts? If not maybe you could put it on over your shoulders before you pick her up, just a thought.
That's a good idea/thought, Alice!

That is a good idea! I have a funny feeling she will throw it off though. She is a very opinionated girl.
Well make a sad face when she tries to throw it down, tell her it's a nice blanket and try again :sneakiness: maybe after 1,000 times it might work :th_embarassed:.

Is there such a thing as "chew bones" for birds?...hmmm..Yes, it is called fingers usually but other things work which they don't have in their little beaks at that very moment. :th_biggrin:

Usually it is Jody that is on the shoulder and she is content to just be there. Now Kalea on the other hand who I call My Little Monkey, has earned that name and is always on the go unless it is Cuddle Time and laying on the boobs, then she is content.

How funny, I call Rosie a little monkey too. Always on the move and always getting into mischeif!
