He is curled up in a ball and won't move. We don't have an avian vet nearby and with the weather being as bad at it is we can't leave the house. It appears to be something with his wing. Is there anything we can do to help him? He is puffed up and stiff but he is still breathing and opened his eyes a few times.

The only advice I can give you is to keep the bird warm and get medical attention ASAP.

The only thing I can think of is try to get him to a vet, or call your vet and see if they can help over the phone.

I think I have read keeping them warm and comfortable (like in a towel lined bottom part of a shoebox) is a good idea. But I am not positive.

Hopefully someone with more experience will have some advice soon.

Where in Canada are you.Perhaps I know someone close that could help.Keep him warm.Keep humidity high.If you think there's something in his wing try carefully to see if you can determine what it is or if he's got a broken bone sticking thru.Vet is always the best ,but not always possable

Thank you to all of you for your help. Unfortunately my sisters bird Lincon passed away a few hours ago. Thanks again for your advice.

I've very sorry to hear about this. I somehow missed this thread until just now. Losing one of our feathered companions is such a tragic thing. My heart goes out to you, your sister, and your family for this terrible loss.
