A donut monster!

A new donut shop opened in our community. I've never been a huge donut fan (the exception is duck donuts...yummm) but a friend recommended this place. So I went a couple of weeks ago to give them a try. Very yummy, and they make me a coconut topped one - love coconut.

So Rosie saw me enjoying my treat, saw the dogs begging and figured she would get in on the act. I made the mistake of giving in to them all. Now, anytime I have a donut on the couch, Rosie is literally climbing all over me to get to it. The more I move it, the faster she scampers, it is ridiculous. She is officially a donut monster. She eats her piece so darn quickly and starts yelling "want more!" I end up scarfing the rest in record time. If I am not quick enough, she tries to take the whole thing from me. Crazy donut monster.

Mind you, I just give her a small bit torn off without toppings.

That's so funny! I can just see it now, her chasing you down for your donut! Heehee!

You are in big trouble. When a Macaw wants something I have a feeling there is no stopping them.

Oh, Kendra, good luck. My kids swarmed me tonight for popcorn. I didn't even have the bag open and nesty little Dori flew over to my chair and started chirping at me while looking at the bag, begging for popcorn. Orsino will literally follow me around the house for popcorn if given the chance, he is a popcorn FIEND, and he'll rip a piece right out of my hand if I don't give him his own fast enough. And mine are all smaller than yours, so good luck.... (my Rosie got some popcorn too, but she got it from my mom, who she loves to hang out on more than me)

It is ridiculous. I am finally starting my diet later this week. I told Rosie and Teddy the donut party will soon be over. [emoji6]

Kendra: I thought I read recently that you were going to start a new diet?? If so, that's no way to diet! Yummy donuts :th_tongue2:. Rosie is a cutie!!

Tony - Very true, if only there was a donut diet. Or any junk food for that matter. I put it off, it requires a lot of cooking, which I despise doing. I have been sick on and off and just couldn't get myself motivated to cook. I am feeling a bit better, so I am biting the bullet and starting Wed, once I have all my groceries. :)

Crockpots are a great way of making a delicious healthy meal. Once you have prepared all the veggies and sometimes brown your meat you just put it all in the pot and let it do the cooking. There are great recipes you can find on line too.
